The cozy restaurant serves rustic, typically German cuisine in a quaint atmosphere with cathedral views. Welcome to the restaurant "Rose am Dom"
One of the oldest restaurants in Aachen. Since the 14th century our house is committed to hospitality. Already during the construction of the Gothic choir of the Aachener Münster from 1353 - 1413, the stonemasons were provided with meat and drink at this place. As a cathedral workshop the house was named "Zur Mark". After the town fire of Aachen in 1656 it was reconstructed and as many old houses it got a new name - "Zur Rose". The house survived the second world war with a lot of damage and was rebuild to the old model by the town conservator Dr. Leo Hugot. Especially because of the interesting "Kreuzstock" window frontage the building is under monumental protection since 1984.
Enjoy our saisonal à-la-carte menu, daily from noon until 11pm. The "Rose-Team" and manager Mr. Markus Breuer are always there to answer your questions and try their best to meet your desires.
