Cultures of the World Gamelan taster course

Experience yourself as part of a group - in a connected musical body - with the rich repertoire of Gamelan, a musical style from Indonesia. Together with the group you will try out several instruments and determine the pace of learning. The Cologne artist Hartmut Zander, who has been familiar with traditional Javanese and Balinese music for many years, provides initial contact with Java's gamelan culture using the example of simple pieces, his own compositions and improvisations.
