Exhibition: The Karlsruhe Passion – until April 16th, 2023
16. November 2022
The Karlsruhe Passion | Really Violent - Wallraf-Richartz-Muesum Cologne
The Wallraf-Richartz-Museum is showing the “Karlsruher Passion” as a whole exhibit for the first time after a century-long separation of the individual artworks. The panels from the Late Gothic are speculated to be created by the artist Hans Hirtz from Straßbourg, who was able to fabricate a synthesis of the arts by painting interlinking sceneries and architectures – resulting in a fascinating continuity. The exhibition is taking place until easter of 2023.
