Grand Opening of the Cologne Harbor Christmas Market

The Cologne Harbor Christmas Market at the Chocolate Museum will reopen its doors on 24.11.2017 and this special day will be celebrated with due respect.
From 11.00 clock the Christmas market season 2017 is opened and of course is also the Rheinpirat Tamino. With the finest juggling and hearty pirate tales, this sea-starter, washed with all seawater, entertains the landing eggs and gladly takes up your support during the tightrope walk.
From 18.00 o'clock it goes to the ceremonial inauguration on three-master wooden ship in front of the chocolate museum! But sailing and flag hoisting, the boat baptism with the mayor and maritime accordion music are far from everything. There is a subsequent fire show and a mulled wine raffle (free drinks are available for the visitors).
From 18.30 clock then comes a very special action for young and old: The pirate horde of Deutzer buccaneer hijacks the harbor Christmas market with sabers and muskets! Led by her Captain Marie, the pirates in original costumes provide a great spectacle, great photo opportunities and hearty O-tones.
