The Orangerie Theater makes October a month full of encounters between art, movement, and ideas!
Sometimes it’s the impact of many voices at once, like at the international festival URBÄNG!, which weaves dance, music, theater, and discourse into a dense whole from October 7 to 10. Sometimes it’s the stillness of a single body that has a lot to tell, as in the world premiere of “The Whole Me 2,” where choreographer Sarina Panahideh explores the body as a place of self-determination. And sometimes it’s the lightness of an afternoon shared with the whole family, as in the performative reading “Inkheart.”
A visit like this rarely ends with the last applause, whether it starts in the afternoon or stretches into the evening. The impressions want to be discussed, and the questions want to be thought further—preferably over a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere.
