The exhibition ‘Rediculously Yours – Art, Awkwardness and Enthusiasm’ is currently displayed at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (‘Bundeskunsthalle’) in Bonn and can be visited until April 10th, 2023. Created by Jörg Heiser and Christina Ricupero, the exhibition guides its visitors through an amusement park of enthusiastic awkwardness and foolishness, questioning the conservatism  and moral values as well as the avant-garde dogma of  the modern age since the 19th and 20th century. Replenished with art works of important artists such as Peter Bruegel the Eldest, Alfred Jarry and James Ensor, Marcel Duchamp and Francis Picabia, George Grosz and René Magritte, Giorgio de Chirico and Sturtevant, Sigmar Polke an Martin Kippenberger as well as contemporary artists such as Paul McCarthy, Nicole Eisenman, Fischli & Weiss, Isa Genzken, Pauline Curnier-Jardin, Kiluanji Kia Henda oder Ming Won, the exhibition plays with the humour of catastrophe, bas taste, the camp approach, B-movie culture, immaturitiy, idiocy, intuition, passion and enthusiasm.
