The ‘Haxenhaus zum Rheingarten’ is located in one of the oldest, still preserved houses in the old town of Cologne, right next to the famous banks of the Rhine. For the past 30 years, the traditional restaurant has been focused on freshly grilled pork-knuckles, home made sausages and knuckle-snacks, while also offering vegetarian alternatives. The historic house shows a great variety of traces through its history that are highly honored by the restaurant: Doors and staircases are still preserved and create, together with faithfully restored floors, a beautiful scenery, allowing guest to travel back in time.
