»Haus Pöttgen« was founded by the Pöttgen family in 1907 and has been operated in the 4th generation since 1996 by master chef Wolfgang Pöttgen. His parents ran the restaurant for 29 years and still work in the family business.

Whether Ehrenfeld residents from the neighbourhood or trade fair guests from all over the world: Pöttgen is where they all come together to drink a refreshing Kölsch and engage in a friendly chat at the bar, and suddenly the world looks a little brighter.

Just in time for warmer weather, we offer our guests an oasis of peace and relaxation in the heart of Ehrenfeld, where our new garden is the perfect place to enjoy the summer. With a cool drink in hand, even the hottest of temperatures is tolerable here. Our kitchen would be happy to prepare a small snack for you – light and healthy and, as always, delicious!
